Its been a while since I've posted, so I guess I'll update it a little.
As far as my New Year's Resolution, I've lost 6 lbs.
Ian and I have decided to go on raw diet. We're doing this for a few reasons. 1) to help boost my weight loss, 2) help us BOTH be healthy: to help my joints stop hurting, and to help Ian with his Crohn's, and 3) to teach Sionn how to eat better, and to live longer. :)
With the help of my mother, I gave Sionn his first hair cut. Its not a buzz cut or anything that drastic. Just a trim. Pictures to come when I decide to take them.
That's about it... nothing much.

Gotta love it.
I will never understand people... if you take the effort to say that you're going to change, and that you're going to work on things... then fucking do it. Don't continue to be a judging whore, and that your shit doesn't stink. Quit looking down on others for how they live their lives, and for gods sake, quit making excuses. Lying to make yourself look better doesn't work: it makes it worse. Quit being a competitive bitch, trying to be the best at everything. Its better to have talent, but my dear: you don't. You fail at life, and you go on and on about how awesome you are... when in reality, you're a huge fuck up, who always runs home when life starts getting hard. You boast about how much you do for people, and expect them to be grateful. But that's not how it works. Friends don't talk about how much they've done for each other, and use it as leverage.
You put others down to make you feel/look better... its pathetic, and annoying. You're so self centered it makes me SICK. All you do it put your nose where it doesn't belong. DRAMA: that's the best word to use to describe you, because you can't just be humble.
Grow the fuck up. There are more important things in my life than dealing with your drama bullshit. Oh, and don't worry about trying to contact me, either. I won't respond.
I'd much rather spend the rest of my life in a hobbit hole with my family, than to hear your rambling slander.

Appreciation for Artisans.
Last week while searching through Etsy, I found some handmade, vegan soap. I am by no means vegan, but I do appreciate artisans, so I decided to purchase some of their product. I got one order today (I ordered from two people), and boy, does it smell SOOOOOO good! I can't wait til I get my other order, too!
Everyone needs some indulgence every once in a while.

One of the perks of working at a bakery? fresh bread to make AMAZING grilled cheese sandwiches.
Today whilst making egg salad for the first time, I accidentally figured out how to make an AMAZING tartar salad.
1- small onion
6-8 dill pickle slices
2 tablespoons of Mayo
3 blots of Yellow Mustard
1 tiny pinch of sea salt
Chop the onion and pickles up in a food processor, then add the rest, blend for 5 -10 seconds (til fully blended) and viola, perfection.
Yay me. :)

For the first time this winter, it snowed. To celebrate, Ian and I took Sionn and Bryna to Mt. Echo to take in the beautiful view of Cincinnati... but it was blurred by snow.
It got REALLY crazy when we got back to our apartment, so Bryna and I had a nice romp in the snow.
I am so excited for the snow: it is what makes winter so enjoyable for me. I can't wait for more.

January 1st, 2012.
This is the post where I'm going to introduce myself, and the things in my life.
Sionn and his trusty companion Bryna, the 12 month old "Boxador." (God I hate "designer" dog breed labels. >.< )
My 7.5 month old son, Sionn. He is the most beautiful, happy baby you will ever meet.
You pronounced his name "Si-on" didn't you? I don't blame you, I would have too. His name is Gaelic in origin, and is actually pronounced "Schoon." Oh, the looks we get when we call him by his name!

For being such a hyper crazy dog, she is AMAZING with Sionn. She's always so gentle with him, and is always checking up on him.
Ian, Sionn's father. He's my "Male Significant Other Unit." We make cute babies, no?
Since it is New Year's, I'll let ya'll in on my "resolution." My main goal is to become healthier, and a lot has to change. That involves more fruits and veggies for me, less red meats (noooooo!), and cutting out the soda.
So far for today I'm doing pretty good. I enjoyed an "Arnold Palmer" and some Chamomile tea, and when we went out for our dinner date today (baby included) I had a salad. Yum.
My goal is to go from this:
Taken 12-26-2011, all 230lbs of me.
To this:
Taken: June 2009. 130lbs.
A girl can dream, can't she?
